Do This

Plug the connector into the headset port of your Cisco phone.

Press the Headset button on the front of the phone to use the headset.


Place a telephone service request (support.kent.edu). Ask to replace the cable with one that has a clear modular connector.


Plug the base station into the headset port of your Cisco phone.


Place a telephone service request (support.kent.edu) to replace the handset lifter cable with a Cisco-compatible cable, and to configure the lifter device for your new phone.
