Jabber for Mac - Device not found message

When logging into Jabber for Mac, an error message appears along the bottom of the Jabber window that says “Device not found.”




This error will appear if you and your department has not been moved to the new Cisco phone platform or if you do not have a phone assigned to you. 

If your deskphone does not have a Cisco logo on it, then you are likely still on the old phone system. If you are unsure of your phone status or if you should have a phone assigned to you, please contact your local desktop support administrator.
