How do I configure Cisco Jabber for iPhone?

Cisco Jabber™ for iPhone is a unified communications application that provides presence, instant messaging (IM), voice, voice messaging, and video calling capabilities on Apple iPhone and iPod Touch devices. Conferencing is delivered with an escalation to the Cisco WebEx® Meetings application on the iPhone.


Requirements

  • iPod 5th Generation or iPhone 4+ running iOS 7 or later

    • iPhone 4 devices do not support video capabilities of this app

  • WiFi connection

  • AnyConnect VPN connection when off-campus

  • For phone and video functionality, a device must be created, so it can be associated with your KSU phone number. Please request an iPhone mobile device (TCT) be associated with your phone line for voice mobility.


Configuration

  1. Download and install the Cisco Jabber for iPhone app from the Apple App Store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cisco-jabber/id467192391?mt=8

  2. Launch the Cisco Jabber app

  3. Enter your KSU email address


  1. Press Continue

  2. Enter your Flashline Password


  1. Select the Sign In



All services that you have available to you will be configured and connected to automatically, such as chat and email. If you already have a phone device, it will also be connected. However, if you do not have not requested an iPhone mobile (TCT) device be created for your phone line, you will need to contact the Helpdesk to have one created for this mobile application.
